Lead Times, Minimum Orders and Pricing Explained

If this is your first time ordering branded promotional items, it helps to understand how the process works from artwork to delivery. Here is what to expect.

Getting a quote

Pricing on our catalogue reflects the unit cost of items before branding, so the final quote depends on the quantity you need and the branding method suitable for that item. Items range widely by budget:

• Altitude Banksy Ball Pen - $0.80, suited to large bulk orders
• Altitude Blank Canvas Sublimation Ceramic Mug 330ml - $3.50, a mid-range gifting item
• Altitude Enterprise A5 2027 Diary - $13, a higher-value staff or client gift
• Alex Varga Ilka Gift Set - $120, a premium gift set for top clients or executives

Submitting your order

Once you've chosen your items and quantities, the next step is your artwork. Logos can be submitted three ways:

• Uploaded directly on the product page
• Emailed to admin@apeiromedia.co.zw
• Sent via WhatsApp to +263 778 008 258

We recommend vector files (AI, EPS or PDF) or a high-resolution PNG for the sharpest print results, particularly on larger items like banners.

Lead times

Turnaround time depends on the item, the branding method, and the quantity ordered. Items requiring simple single-colour branding on small products are generally quicker to produce than large-format sublimated banners or full gift sets that need assembly. Because of this, it's best to place your order with as much lead time as possible ahead of your event or deadline, particularly around busy periods such as the festive season and corporate year-end, when order volumes are higher across the board.

What affects your lead time

• Item type - small, single-colour items are typically quicker to brand than large-format or multi-part items
• Order quantity - larger runs naturally take longer to produce than small batches
• Artwork readiness - orders with print-ready vector artwork move faster than those needing file corrections first
• Season - order volumes rise during the festive season and around major expos, so building in extra buffer time during these periods is worthwhile

Delivery and collection options

Once your order is ready, you have a few options for getting it to you:

• Collection from our Harare office - free of charge, at 2 Speke Avenue, Suite 316, Margolis Plaza, Harare
• Delivery within Harare - a flat US$7 delivery fee
• Delivery outside Harare - sent via courier on a pay-on-collection basis, meaning you settle the courier fee directly when the parcel arrives

Minimum order considerations

Some items are more practical to order in bulk given their size and branding method, particularly smaller items like pens, keyholders and lanyards. Larger or higher-value items such as gift sets and diaries can typically be ordered in smaller quantities. If you're unsure what quantity makes sense for your budget or event, it's worth asking before placing your order.

A simple way to plan is to work backwards from the date you need the items:

• Confirm your item selection and quantities
• Prepare and submit your artwork
• Confirm your delivery or collection preference
• Allow buffer time before your event or deadline in case of any changes needed to the artwork

Buyer questions

What if I'm ordering for a client outside Harare? Let us know the destination town so we can arrange the appropriate courier, and remember the courier fee itself is settled by you on collection rather than included upfront.

Can I place a smaller trial order before committing to a larger one? For gift sets and higher-value items this is often possible; for very small bulk items like pens, the cost efficiency usually comes from ordering the full quantity in one run.

Does pricing change with quantity? Unit costs are generally more favourable at higher quantities, which is part of why bulk items like pens and keyholders are priced so low individually - it's worth discussing your expected quantity when requesting a quote.
