Branding techniques

Choosing the right method matters as much as choosing the right product. Here's what each one does best — tell us your logo and quantity and we'll recommend the method.

Screen printing

Best for: T-shirts, bags, caps in bulk

Ink pushed through a stencil, one screen per colour. Hard-wearing and the most economical option for large runs of one- or two-colour logos.

Embroidery

Best for: Golf shirts, jackets, caps, workwear

Your logo stitched in thread. The most premium, longest-lasting finish on clothing — ideal for staff uniforms.

Pad printing

Best for: Pens, keyholders, small curved items

A silicone pad transfers ink onto small or uneven surfaces where a screen cannot sit flat.

Laser engraving

Best for: Metal bottles, pens, USBs, wooden gifts

The surface is etched rather than printed, giving a permanent tonal mark that never rubs off.

Debossing / embossing

Best for: Diaries, notebooks, leather goods

Your logo pressed into (or raised out of) the cover. Subtle, tactile and very corporate.

Digital / direct-to-product printing

Best for: Full-colour logos on drinkware and gifts

Prints photographic detail and gradients directly onto the item — no screen setup, so it suits smaller quantities.

Sublimation

Best for: Mugs, mouse pads, gazebo skins, flags

Dye is fused into the material, so the print covers the whole surface and will not peel or crack.

Heat transfer / vinyl

Best for: Sports kit, numbers and names, small runs

A printed or cut film heat-pressed onto fabric. Great for detailed artwork and individual personalisation.

Doming

Best for: Keyholders, badges, promotional labels

A clear resin dome over a printed label gives a glossy, three-dimensional and weather-resistant finish.

Large-format printing

Best for: Pull-up banners, flags, banner walls, table cloths

Wide-format digital printing on PVC or fabric for outdoor and exhibition display in full colour.

Custom packaging

Best for: Gift sets, hampers, launch kits

Branded boxes, belly bands and gift wrap so the unboxing carries your brand too.

Sending us your artwork

  • •Send vector artwork where possible — AI, EPS, PDF or SVG. These scale to any size without blurring.
  • •If you only have a PNG or JPG, send the largest, sharpest version you have.
  • •Tell us your exact brand colours (Pantone or CMYK) if colour matching matters.
  • •Remove backgrounds from logos so they sit cleanly on the product.
  • •Let us know where the logo should sit and roughly how big.

Attach your file at checkout, email it to admin@apeiromedia.co.zw, or send it on WhatsApp to +263 77 800 8258. Not sure it will work? Send it anyway and we'll check it for you.
